The Achievement Institute, Inc. (TAI), improves the quality of life for the communities we serve and is delivered utilizing the largest network of African American male mentors. We influence and transform the lives of our target audience by providing programmatic services in education, health and wellness, economic empowerment and leadership development. These make a fundamental difference in the lives of the young men and the communities we serve.
Through intellectual, moral, and social instruction; The Achievement Institute will facilitate the learning experience by helping each young man acquire productive knowledge, skills, values, beliefs, and habits. Our methods will include discussion, teaching, training, and directed research.
Education
TAI leadership has been empowering youth for over two decades. As a leader in mentoring, educating and empowering youth, it was a natural progression for TAI to become partners and sponsors with schools. The themes of achieving excellence and collaborating with school boards, parents and the community resonates across all.

Health & Wellness
TAI health and wellness goals are to make our young men aware, provide access to purposeful mental and physical health through education will ultimately promote behavioral changes resulting in a healthier lifestyle for our young men.
Through civic and corporate partnerships, TAI will deliver educational programs to our mentees, families and their communities.
Economic Empowerment
TAI defines economic empowerment as the capacity to participate in, contribute to and benefit from growth processes in ways that recognize the value of their contributions, respect their dignity and make it possible to negotiate a fairer distribution of the benefits of growth through financial literacy, wealth building and entrepreneurship.
Leadership Development
TAI definition of leadership is the art of motivating young men to act towards achieving a common goal. TAI Leadership embraces all of our programs that ignite mentors, mentees and community leaders worldwide.
